Our Battery Assembly Line & Quality Process

How every Enerzex LiFePO₄ battery is built, tested, and verified before it reaches you.

Enerzex assembles LiFePO₄ (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries at our facility in Karachi, Pakistan. Every battery that carries the Enerzex name goes through the same graded-cell selection, BMS integration, and testing process described below — this page exists so customers, installers, and dealers can see exactly what that process involves.

The Assembly Process

  1. 1. Cell Sourcing & Grading

Cells are sourced and graded before assembly begins. Each cell's brand, manufacture date, and grade (A/B/C) are recorded against the battery it goes into — this record is what lets our warranty portal show a customer exactly which cell batch is inside their specific serial number.

  2. 2. Internal Resistance (IR) Testing

Cells are tested for internal resistance (IR) prior to pack assembly. Cells with mismatched IR values are not grouped together — consistent IR across a pack is what keeps individual cells from aging at different rates, which is one of the most common causes of premature capacity loss in cheaply-assembled batteries.

  3. 3. Pack Assembly & Spot Welding

Graded cells are connected into the pack configuration for the target voltage — 4S for 12.8V, 8S for 25.6V, or 16S for 51.2V — using the busbar/spot-welding methods appropriate for the cell's terminal type.

  4. 4. BMS Integration

A JK Smart BMS is wired into every pack, matched to the pack's series/parallel configuration and terminal type. The BMS brand, model, and type are logged per battery, and this is what enables features like active cell balancing and (on supported models) WiFi/Bluetooth monitoring.

  5. 5. Housing & Terminal Fitting

The pack is fitted into its housing (wall-mount or rack-mount body type, depending on the model) with the correct terminal type for the intended use case.

  6. 6. Final QC & Serial Registration

Each finished battery is assigned its unique 8-digit serial number, which is what a customer later registers on our warranty portal to activate their 5-year warranty coverage. This serial is permanently linked to that unit's cell grade, BMS, and assembly record.

Why This Matters

A battery is only as reliable as its weakest cell. Skipping IR-matching or using ungraded cells is how low-cost, unbranded battery packs end up with cells that age unevenly — one weak cell drags down the whole pack's usable capacity within months. Recording the cell grade and BMS details against each serial number is also what makes our Serial Check and warranty claims process possible: when a customer or dealer looks up a serial, the system already knows exactly what's inside that unit.

Frequently Asked

Is Enerzex a manufacturer or a reseller?
Enerzex assembles battery packs in-house in Karachi, Pakistan — cells are sourced, graded, and built into finished packs with a JK Smart BMS at our facility, rather than importing pre-built packs under our name.

What quality control happens before a battery ships?
Cell grading, internal resistance (IR) testing, and BMS integration checks happen before a battery is assigned its serial number and shipped — see the six-step process above.

Where is Enerzex based?
Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. See our Contact page for enquiries, or the Dealers page to find a reseller in your city.
