Safety Precautions
- !Qualified Installation Only — installation, wiring, and servicing must only be performed by trained, qualified personnel.
- !No Reverse Polarity — always connect Positive (+) to Positive (+) and Negative (−) to Negative (−). Never reverse polarity.
- !Switch Off Before Wiring — always switch the battery OFF before connecting or disconnecting any cables, and never short-circuit the terminals.
- !Ventilated, Dry Location — install in a well-ventilated, dry location out of reach of children; never open the enclosure, which has no user-serviceable parts inside.
- !Series Connection Restricted — only battery models explicitly approved by Enerzex for series operation should ever be connected in series; combining non-approved models in series may cause permanent damage and voids the warranty. See Series Connection below.

Wiring Guide
Safe Connection Procedure (Single Battery to Inverter)
- 1Wear insulated safety gloves. Wrap the positive and negative cable ends with insulating tape to prevent accidental short circuits.
- 2Unscrew the positive terminal cover, connect the positive wire, and refit the protective cover.
- 3Unscrew the negative terminal cover, connect the negative wire, and refit the protective cover.
- 4At the inverter end, connect the positive wire, then the negative wire, and refit the inverter's terminal covers.
- 5Turn ON the battery's main air switch.
- 6Press and activate the battery's power switch.
- 7Wait at least one minute, then power on the inverter.
Inverter Connection
Enerzex batteries communicate with a wide range of inverter brands over CAN and/or RS485. Always verify compatibility with your specific inverter model/firmware and select the matching protocol in the battery's communication settings before first use.

Battery Monitoring & the Enerzex Link App
Enerzex batteries can be monitored through several channels simultaneously:
- 📶Enerzex Link app via Bluetooth — local monitoring, available on all models
- 📡Enerzex Link app via WiFi — remote monitoring with the optional WiFi module
- 🖥️On-unit LCD touch screen — selected models, shows real-time status even without networked monitoring
- 🔗Inverter display — via CAN or RS485 communication

LED Indicator Guide
Models without an LCD screen provide status feedback via 6 LEDs: four green SOC/capacity indicators (SOC1–SOC4), one red alarm indicator (ALM), and one green running indicator (RUN).

Parallel Battery Setup (Multi-Pack)
Up to 16 Enerzex batteries of the same model can be connected in parallel through the dedicated battery parallel communication bus (not the inverter CAN/RS485 port) to build larger energy banks.
- 1Assign each battery a unique address using its internal DIP switches (#1–#4 in binary). Address 0 is always the host (Pack 0); all others are slaves.
- 2Link batteries pack-to-pack via the dedicated RS485 parallel port, forming a daisy chain from the host through each slave pack.
- 3The host pack communicates with the inverter over CAN or RS485, summarizing data from every slave pack in the chain.
- 4DIP switches #5–#6 (host unit only) select the inverter communication protocol family; on slave packs, #5–#6 must remain OFF.
- 5Keep the length of each power cable to the busbar consistent, so current is shared evenly across all units.
Series Connection
- ✓Use identical battery models and firmware versions only.
- ✓Ensure all batteries are at equal SOC before connecting in series.
- ✓Contact Enerzex technical support before attempting a series configuration.
Maintenance, Storage & Transportation
Monthly Inspection Checklist
- ✓Check that all terminal connections remain tight and corrosion-free.
- ✓Inspect wiring for wear, chafing, or heat damage, and clean dust from ventilation openings.
- ✓Verify pack voltage and cell balance via the Enerzex Link app or LCD display, and check for any historical alarms.
- ✓No water topping or electrolyte maintenance is ever required — Enerzex LiFePO₄ batteries are maintenance-free by design.
Storage
- ✓Store at 20%–60% State of Charge (SOC) for any period of non-use, in a dry location away from direct sunlight (25°C ± 3°C recommended).
- ✓Recharge at least once every 3 months, and perform one complete charge/discharge cycle every 6 months during long-term storage.
Transportation
- ✓Transport in the original packaging whenever possible; avoid impact, vibration, rain, and moisture.
- ✓Confirm the battery is fully disconnected before transport, with no charge/discharge current flowing.
- ✓If a unit is dropped, exposed to water, or otherwise damaged in transit, isolate it and have it inspected by a qualified professional before use.
